Functioning

How does SELFTOUPIE work?

Practical for accessing difficult-to-access sites and easy to use.

Designed to be robust and mobile

SELFTOUPIE is a compact and easy to maneuver trailer, making the most difficult to access sites accessible. Its production autonomy varies between 1m³ in transport mode and 1.5m³ in concrete mixer mode, which makes it particularly suitable for small sites or those requiring moderate quantities of concrete.

Towable by a VL GVW 3500kg

To tow a Selftoupie, the PR/EB must be close to 3500kg. Here are some vehicles, some reinforced versions of which have a GVWR sufficient to tow a router on a VL Selftoupie trailer. However, check on your vehicle's registration document.

VP : Q7, X5, grand cherokee, commander, wrangler unlimited, Range Rover, discovery, defender, ML, GL, G(500), Pajero 5 portes, Cayenne, Patrol, Land cruiser et Touareg.

VU : Crafter, Iveco Daily, Transit 5T, Nissan NV400, Movano, Jumper MAN TGE, Sprinter etc...

Suitable for filling on SELFBETON

A filling hopper is available as an option allowing supplies to be supplied to a SELFBETON automatic dispenser.

Loading capacity

In router mode loading capacity is 2000kg of concrete. We recommend loading dry concrete and adding the necessary water once on site, which can considerably increase the loading capacity.

In concrete mixer mode the loading capacity is 1.5m3

Unloading

Once the concrete mix is ready, the drum can be tilted forward to discharge the concrete. All models are equipped with a removable, two-piece, adjustable unloading chute with a maximum length of 1m to facilitate this process.

Cleaning

SELFTOUPIE can be cleaned with water like a cement mixer. The big difference lies in the fact that SELFTOUPIE is cleaned on return from the site using a 200 micron BIG BAG Filtering support and a SECANET type washing podium allowing suspended matter to be filtered and trapped in order to meet the requirements of releases which must be less than 50 mg/l into the environment. The cleaning process is the same as for router trucks but with a reduced environmental impact due to the significantly lower volume.
